I was born and raised in Lviv, Ukraine, a 13th century city known for both its beauty and rainy weather—much like my current hometown of Seattle. I guess there’s just something attractive about a pretty city in the rain.
While still in Ukraine, I worked as a Help Desk Analyst for EPAM Systems, a global IT company. It was an amazing experience and I was fortunate to be part of a great team, but it wasn’t my passion. It wasn’t until I started creating user flows for my husband’s computer game concept that I discovered a love for user experience design.
I dove right in, filling my free time with independent research, reading all the books and blogs I could get my hands on, and learning techniques and tricks from online tutorials. Finally, I committed to making it a career and enrolled in UX Design Immersive courses at General Assembly in Seattle.
Since then, I’ve been designing great user experiences for mostly enterprise products - check out my resume to see the list. I’m fortunate to be part of another great team, and get to spend my days in close collaboration with developers, content designers, researchers, and PMs.
What else can I tell you about? I study dance and am currently trying out a bunch of Latin styles. I ski, rock climb and attempt to grow tomatoes in my backyard.
Oh, and please check out my portfolio, too. It’ll help you get a better feel for my skills and capabilities. If you want to see the whole dog and pony show and some cool before-and-after UX designs, let’s start a conversation.
